Hello!

Let me introduce myself, I’m Lisa Corcoran and I’m a bona fide hotel addict.

The experience of different cultures, climates, landscapes and lifestyles fascinates me. Travel over the last quarter of a century has given me a million memories I will forever savour across five continents, varying from exhilarating sky diving and white water rafting in Australia to breathtaking horse riding in South Africa and a never to be forgotten safari on the Masai Mara. 

Luxury travel means different things to different people. When I travel I want to stay at a property that has made me so welcome it becomes difficult to leave, be that a five star luxury hotel or a family run agriturismo. The same applies to dining, fine dining has its place but so does the age old trattoria which is buzzing with locals. Mostly, it comes down to the people, what really sets a property apart is the quality of its staff. Smiles on faces and the feeling that nothing is too much trouble create an enjoyable atmosphere. Safari guides that are enthusiastic- keen to show you the wildlife and the local community, people that want you to see their part of the world and delight in giving you the best adventure possible.

No two ways about it, I love a good hotel. I just can’t help myself! Whenever I travel I’ll spend hours researching and comparing hotels to make sure I choose the best place to stay, usually for my husband and I.
