Il Giardino Grande is a beautifully restored property a few km from the historic town of Gallipoli. Only six rooms make this a very relaxing retreat in the countryside just outside the village of Parabita. Rooms are authentic and sympathetically restored, some having spacious balconies, and all the usual luxury amenities are to hand. The attention to detail is superb and while it is very hard to drag yourself away from the beautiful pool and spacious terraces, the hotel provides a comprehensive restaurant list for the evening. Breakfast is a delicious buffet as well as a la carte and is served in the secret garden or inside in the church depending on the weather. Lunch can be ordered and enjoyed by the swimming pool. A lovely little gym is also available and a massage room if you so desire. What really sets this place apart however is the delightful staff, this is a family run business where every detail matters.
